Day 22 - Soffit and Crown

Mobile Phone pic from tonight. The lights are working (sort of), the appliances are in place, and the crown/soffit is done. Lots of little things left, which i guess are adding up to annoy me. Lots of small painting with lots of tape and cutting, which is my least favorite kind. The doors in the hallway need to get done before it makes sense to paint in there. Electrical work still needs to be finished and the plumbing is almost done, save for the stove hookup. That needs to have David work on getting it in place and snug. The dishwasher needs electricity and mounting. One lightswitch is the wrong color. The center light is missing the thumbscrews it needs to be done, and needs a different specialty light bulb. I need a new garbage disposal since mine has a leak. The knobs and pulls are en route, so those need to go on. The outer door and dining room need paint. Inspections have me nervous.

I could go on....

It all adds up to say that even at 90% complete and almost usable, you never feel done until everything is done. Hopefully by the weekend we will have half those items done, and everything will be usable.
