Day 16 - Soffit Up, Paint

Getting there. The floor and grout were done Friday, and this weekend I painted the ceiling a couple times, so that is almost done. Today the soffit went up, and tomorrow the crown will be done. I know the soffit is a different color, but the stock we got from the cabinet place was like that, and I am not sure we are going to be able to do anything about it. Hopefully the lighting will make that hard to notice.

I also painted some of the final wall color to cut in and see what it looks like. We are a little concerned about the colors, but we'll have to wait and see. The counters will be installed on Wednesday, and with that the sink will be too. Jon will be putting in the gas line this week and be back to hook everything up some time this week. The electrician will hopefully spend time too doing his final work.

I think we are officially in the home stretch.
